Terms and Service Policies

These policies explain the current one-to-one and group tutoring offer, consultations, accounts, learning materials, scheduling, and payments.

Effective date: September 21, 2026

Using Altivate

By using the website, requesting a consultation, or using tutoring services, you agree to provide accurate information and use Altivate respectfully and lawfully.

If you have an account, keep your credentials private. Do not access another person's account or materials, share private teaching files without permission, or interfere with the service.

What Altivate Offers

Altivate currently offers one-to-one and group mathematics and science tutoring, a free initial consultation, and free educational resources such as the Study Habits Guide. Tutoring pairs academic instruction with long-term study habits. A consultation is a conversation about fit and possible next steps; it does not reserve a tutoring slot or create a paid service commitment.

Where useful, a tutoring student may be given access to a private learning space with assigned modules, lessons, resources, homework, and progress information. That space supports the individual tutoring relationship and is not a group-course purchase.

Tutoring and study resources are educational support, not a substitute for school instruction or professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Results vary; Altivate does not guarantee a grade, admission, credential, or other specific outcome.

Tutoring Arrangements and Payment

Before paid tutoring begins, Altivate will confirm the proposed format, rate, session length, schedule, payment method, and any applicable cancellation or refund terms with the parent, guardian, or adult learner. No group-course package or prerecorded course is being offered through this simplified website.

The launch offers are 50% off a new student’s first eligible one-to-one tutoring session or one first eligible group session at no charge. Group placement depends on subject level, group fit, capacity, and compatible availability. Altivate will confirm the regular rate, offer eligibility, and all session details before booking. The offer does not change later-session rates. Optional semester packages may be discussed after the consultation and will have their complete schedule, price, included services, and applicable cancellation terms confirmed before purchase.

A request or inquiry is not an accepted booking until Altivate confirms it. Please contact Altivate promptly if a scheduled session needs to change; the cancellation terms confirmed for that arrangement will apply, subject to applicable law.

Materials supplied for tutoring or through a private student workspace are for the intended learner's personal educational use. Do not republish, resell, or share them publicly without written permission.

Accounts, Families, and Privacy

A parent or guardian may connect only to a student they are authorized to support. Student and parent access to progress information depends on the account relationship and applicable privacy settings.

Altivate may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect students, staff, accounts, or the service, or to address misuse. Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes and Contact

Altivate may update its services and these policies as the business develops. Changes will appear with an updated effective date. Nothing in these policies limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
